In this project, we photographed some historical houses and places in Kashan, Iran.
Kashan is a city in Iran which is full of heritage and culture. In our last visit, historical houses built by famous architects left us with no choice but to capture glimpses of their beauty through our lens. In this project, we want to share with you what we witnessed. Each house has a series of photos which have been color-corrected in a particular way.
Some information about this city:
• Sialk hill is a large ancient archeological site in a suburb of the city of Kashan.
It has been verified by Institut Français de Recherche en Iran that the oldest settlements in Sialk are from around 6000-5500 BC.
• Kashan is internationally famous for manufacturing carpets, silk and other textiles. Today, Kashan houses most of Iran's mechanized carpet-weaving factories, and has an active marble and copper mining industry.
